Performance, meet leadership.
Work with us to embrace the shifts that will let you excel at your next level.
We ignite change.
Cambio Leadership helps professionals accelerate the path to effectiveness in their next level of leadership. The outcome: organizations retain their talent, teams stay aligned, and the promotion becomes a long-term success. Let's talk.
You may be noticing…
A newly promoted leader taking on too much themselves
Work flowing through one person and slowing the team
A strong performer struggling to delegate
Reluctance to let go of old responsibilities
A leader working harder but the team not improving
Stakeholder friction increasing
Uncertainty about how to intervene supportively
What actually needs to change?
Leadership transitions are rarely about intelligence or effort. They require two shifts:
From personal execution → team leverage
Leaders must let go of "I'll just do it myself" thinking and start creating results through others. This shift requires emphasis on planning, patience, and prioritization.
From individual performer → organizational connector
Leaders must move from to-do lists to anticipating needs, aligning stakeholders, and creating clarity across systems (work that many aren't trained to do). This shift requires reframing the systems at play and the leader's role(s) in it.
Let’s work together.
Here’s how:
Our support is situation-specific and flexible. I'd typically recommend the following, based on who you’re supporting:
1-3 critical leaders → 1:1 coaching
4+ new promotes (across teams) → Group coaching
Many leaders (for specific knowledge) → Workshops & keynotes
Set the organizational standard → Custom leadership programs
Who we work with
Our clients are typically directors, VPs, and senior managers stepping into expanded leadership roles — people who have proven they’re good at what they do and are now navigating the shift to leading at a higher level.
We also work with HR and L&D leaders who are supporting individual leaders, designing cohort programs for recent promotions, putting on speaker series and workshops, or building their organization's leadership pipeline.
If you're navigating something adjacent to this — a career shift, a disruption in work or life, or another moment where you want a thought partner — let’s have a conversation. The work tends to find its shape once we understand what you're actually dealing with.
How it works
01
Start with a conversation
We'll explore what you're navigating, what you're hoping for, and what kind of support would actually make a difference.
No pressure — we want to find the best solution for you, even if that's not with us.
02
Design the right engagement
If we decide to move forward, we'll align on goals, format, and structure — whether that's 1-on-1 coaching, a group cohort, a workshop series, or a custom program built around your organization's needs.
We’ll also decide what metrics to track to gauge success.
03
Do the work
Based on our aligned engagement design, we’ll follow through with the support you or the folks on your team need.
For coaching, that’s typically a series of reflective sessions on a regular cadence over 6 months or so.
04
See it stick
Real development manifests in how leaders show up — with their teams, their peers, and their own work. We track what matters: momentum, clarity, and results that hold beyond the engagement.
We’ll follow up with any agreed-upon tracking data or development plans.
Hi, I'm Ian Lopez, and I founded Cambio Leadership to support new leaders in the biggest roles of their careers. In my prior career as a strategy consultant, I advised senior leaders inside complex organizations. I understand performance pressure, competing priorities, and organizational dynamics, and I pair that experience with coach training from the Hudson Institute of Coaching and my continued coaching practice to support leaders not only in understanding what to do, but in successfully changing how they operate in order to do it.
If you’re supporting a leader stepping into a new level of responsibility, I’m happy to be a resource or thought partner, even if coaching isn’t the right next step.
